  • Day 5

Ok not good. I missed yesterday. So today should be day 6 but its actually day 5. It's kind of like going backwards. Actually, its barely day 5 cause its 11:30. But other than that, life is good. Today I went to Myra's last volleyball game. It was intense and even though she lost, she played good.

So as of the last few months I have been spending my wednesday nights at the firehouse fulfilling my time. I go and I sleep there and then I'm gone to work the next morning. Well anyways, I am starting to think that I am a fire prevention weapon because we haven't had a fire in a long time. We haven't even had a call while I'm there in like over a month, which is crazy. That is probably a good thing but we all live for a good fire. Trevor can witness to that:) He found out about the fire scanners in our house. When it goes off in the night and its a fire it gets interensting! But its alot of fun and it has been really quiet so I'm kinda bummed. Maybe its just saving up for The Big One.

Ok so I would like to ask you all one question. What is something God has taught you or said to you recently? I think its good to actually have to come up with an answer sometimes so we don't take it all for granted and understand the magnitude of being able to communicate with the God of the universe. I say this to myself as much as anyone. Just think about it and have a great day. Talk to you all tomorrow.

  • Day 4

Ok so I almsot forgot! that would be disaster. Anyways so as you know Mom, Myra, KB, and Rachel all just got back from NC. Mom and Myra haven't stopped talking about it and I'm severely jealous. I'm trying to plan another trip back sometime.

Anyways dad has vowed that he isn't letting mom go anywhere without him cause he missed her so much. The first day they were gone, he took my phone and was texting her cause his doesn't text. It was funny cause I had to show him how to text:) but he's got it down now! The night before they got back he was excited to see her and wouldn't really shut up:) And the day they got back, he was rubbing in the fact that he was getting to see his wife at 8:30 and Gary had to wait til midnight. Gary couldn't stand it and dad was grinning from ear to ear with excitement.

So I guess I'm telling all of you this just to brag on my dad a little. He's pretty cool and it was fun to see his excitement for her. It's pretty rare for them to not go on trips like this together and it sounds like it will get rarer, if thats a word.

Well gotta run. Need sleep and have a speech tomorrow at 8. Goodnight all!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Day Three

So I finally got to see Trevors videos of the Buble concert. It looks like an awesome concert. And I'm kinda jealous. But thats ok. Atleast I got to see some footage of it. Oh and I did not know he was Canadian. Well it looks like their are alot of great voices in Canada.

Ok so I am posting while watching the Office. Very good show for all you unbelievers. You should check it out. Anyways, classic Michael Scott comes out. He says, "Fool me once, strike one. Fool me twice, (pause) strike three." Very funny as long as you understand the characters. So all of you who have missed out on the experience of seeing the show, WATCH IT. It's good for your health. Oh and have a good night.

  • Day 2

Ok so I'm pretty bummed its the end of the weekend. I had a great one with my dad and bro. My mom and sister are gone til tomorrow in NC. I'm very jealous but it was fun around here. We worked around the house and got a ton of stuff done. We worked and worked and worked!!!!!!! And seeing that this is only like the 2nd weekend I've had off in a while, there was alot to do. But like I said, I will arise and the weekend will have floated away with my dreams:( Oh well, life moves on I guess and there's always next weekend:) Well I gotta run and get some sleep. Got a big test in Biology tomorrow and I've had to do alot more studying than normal cause our teacher is Chinese and can barely speak English. Not a good thing to have her teach you Biology. Almost like having a Greek teach a Mexican how to speak Swedish. Well have a good night everyone, oh and Trevor and Tiffany, I'm jealous of you for going to see Buble!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I'll talk to you all tomorrow. Hahahahahaha. (not funny)

  • The 2nd Day One

ok so day 1 again. Thats pretty bad, I know. I'm very glad for my dear friends who corrected me. I really didn't want to post for a whole 2 weeks. So day one again:) Well our 2008 almond crop is in and it feels great. Dad and I finished this morning. And now its about to rain. How cool is that? For those of you who aren't almond farmers, rain on the almonds after they are shook and in wind rows is really bad.

I love harvest time for many reasons. Every year I'm always reminded of Christs examples and see how true and real they are. Its cool to see how down to earth Christ is. Its just really awesome to see a whole years worth of work pays off in about two days. I'm kinda excited about it:)

So day one is done, again.
